Returning to Teaching Full Time...I Hope

As I continue to apply to various schools for a full time teaching position.... I hope I land a school where the kids need creativity and nurturing. My kids are both off to school. Wish me luck

Summer 2011; Middle and High School 3-D Art/ Nature Science Classes

  I'm seeking to take on several Art Enthusiasts as students? Calling all Natural Science/ Sculpture students during the Summer on Tuesday and Thursday Evenings 6-8pm and 9am-12 noon Weekends. We will work together at my house/ studio starting June 11th through August 12th, missing 4th of July week.

 We will meet at 9:00- 12:00 June 11th for a Initial class preview and to review the course and hand out supply lists.  Please bring your Parent or Legal Guardian for the first get together. We will meet at 907 Pond St. Cary NC. 27511. I have my NC Art Certification K-12 and I'm ready to teach Middle-High School Art!!!

Five spots available for ages 12-18. Two evenings a week 6-8 pm and 9-12 noon on Saturdays for the Summer.




  We will make...





Altered Ceramic Sculptures of Critters, Wood Carving of Birds, Latex/ Plaster Mold Making of Tracks and Turtle Shells and Cement Tiles Impressions of different Plants and tie in how all these processes relate to Natural Science investigation. Right Whale Fetus nearing completion

The best part of waking up is finishing a sculpture thats going into the NC Museum of Natural Sciences.
The Nature Research Center will house "Lil Stumpy" in 2012.
